How to Skin a Rabbit For Taxidermy Part 1 Detailed Tutorial

In this video I will show you how to properly skin a rabbit for taxidermy. I will show you how to skin the head, tail, legs, body, and where to make your incisions. You can use this method for almost any mammal (as mentioned in the video) to make a soft mount, lifesize, or just a nice fur pelt.
Sorry about the squirrel in there. That was my first ever mount that I did with no training (I was also very young) lol.
Thanks for watching and let me know what else you want me to do a video on!

Please for future reference do NOT salt your pelt if you are putting it back in the freezer. You should just fold it up without anything. The salt will cause major freezer burn. I love your rabbit by the way. Keep up the good work.

I really hope you will post more videos soon. I really need some helpful tutorials and this was awesome! Great explainations and easy to see. I have a rabbit I've skinned and tanned myself and I want to mount it and am stuck trying to figure out how to do the ears before I mount it.
So keep it up, I really can't wait to see more from you!
